| I formatted my 4GB pendrive to FAT format, and can only use 100MB of it. Am I doing something wrong? |
| Unfortunately, FAT can only support up to 2GB for removable devices. Anything exceeding 2GB must be formatted in FAT32 mode. |

You can find the instructions on the bottom of the webpage labeled “password security user manual.’’ The default password is “0000” after partitioning.

| The secure partition cannot be recovered if the password is lost. That is why it is vital to have the hint. You can only access the public area. The only way is to return to manufacturer and have them reformat it. |

| Drive partitioning involves programming the drive so that when inserted into a USB drive socket, the computer system sees it as being separate, independent drives. For example, partitioning into 2 drives evenly on a 512MB drive will result in the computer system into which the drive is inserted seeing 2 independent 256MB disk drives. |
